Kelsey Schwind-Fernandez is a master-level practitioner whose work sits at the intersection of classical Chinese medicine, modern integrative care, and an unwavering reverence for the body's innate intelligence. With over two decades of clinical excellence, she brings precision, artistry, and profound presence to every treatment.
Kelsey holds a Doctorate of Oriental Medicine and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, where she graduated with honors. Her academic journey culminated in a clinical internship in Beijing, China — an immersive study of classical acupuncture and herbal medicine at its source. She has been in active clinical practice since 2003, nationally board-certified through the NCCAOM and licensed in the state of Illinois.
Her clinical mastery spans pain resolution, women's health and hormonal balance, stress and nervous system regulation, cosmetic acupuncture, and high-level preventive wellness. She approaches each patient as a complete and unique system — tracing patterns to their origin, not merely addressing surface symptoms — and designs treatment protocols that evolve with precision as healing unfolds.
As a certified thermography technician, Kelsey integrates non-invasive infrared imaging into her practice as a sophisticated diagnostic tool — offering patients a deeper, proactive view of their health before imbalance becomes disease.
